what is sake?

sake tends to have a lower alcohol content. it also tends to embrace fruitier & sweeter flavors more easily than soju. sake is also not distilled after fermentation. sake is a fermentation mixture of rice, koji, & water.
sake perfect for giving you a warm buzz, but it will allow you to potentially have several bottles before you start to see stars.
the sake brewing process takes about two months. after the initial brew, the sake needs to mature for six to twelve months.

what is soju?

soju tends to have a higher alcohol content than sake. soju is comparable to vodka but with much less bite. it is also distilled after fermentation. soju is fermentation mixture of wheat & rice. sometimes barley, tapioca, & even sweet popotos can be used. this does effect the final product.
the soju brewing process takes about two weeks though some prefer it up to a month and some change. from here, the soju moves being distilled, and then aged for a few months depending on the company.
